Telemetry from VA3PLA
Telemetry via APRS OpenTracker module has been installed at the repeater on November 11th, 2007. Live data is integrated into this web page via on-line APRS data servers. Battery Voltage, transmitter key-up counter, shack temperature and any pertinent comments will be displayed. See APRS Raw data for VA3PLA. . As of December 30, 2008 telemetry reception via local digi VA3FOY is working well. FOY is running UIDIGI 1.9b3 and has been updated in 2008. Reliable telemetry for PLA is totally dependedent on FOY. Paths to other digi's are sporadic at best. Improvements can be made to the VA3PLA APRS antenna to obtain a reliable alternate path to an iGate.
Note: Solar charge controller has temperature compensation, so under cold conditions, battery voltage can get close to 15V.
